Kanye West didn't like Kim Kardashian's 2019 Met Gala outfit, as he deemed it too sexy. However, there was a time when Kanye liked sexy Kim.

In fact, the reason why people find Kanye's recent comments ridiculous was the fact that he even encouraged and pushed his wife to wear such type of clothing.

Certainly, it's worth digging the history, back to the time when West still loved Kim Kardashian's sexy outfits.

1. The Dinner Party at Craig's

Years ago after the couple's matchy-matchy look in a red carpet, they attended Craig's party in Hollywood where the theme was 'to match the vibe of your partner.'

West innovated their fashion and unleashed their styles. He wore an incognito-themed style, a black pullover from his Yeezy collection and paired it with Kardashian's leather halter from Tom Ford.

What highlighted his wife more was her latex leggings with snakeskin print from Vex. The all-black look made her wife look sexier and he benefited on that. After all, it always takes two different things to harmonize, right?

2. Kanye Turned into Kim's go-to stylist

In their appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kim Kardashian opened up that they were no longer working with Monica Rose who was the Kardashian sisters' stylist for 10 years. The business with Rose lasted until April 2017, according to People.

Saying goodbye to the former stylist, West himself styled Kim and gave her a fashion makeover using his self-designed Yeezy collection from that today forward.

In an interview with Vogue, Kim recalled how West took her to a Lakers game and made her wear a "black Givenchy leather dress and Tom Ford snakeskin shoes."

3. Kanye West had a song about Kim Kardashian's sex tape

Kim Kardashian has been featured in a series of West's songs.

As Kanye's girlfriend, she was privileged. Her then-boyfriend West called her his "perfect b**ch," which also received criticisms from Kardashian's fans.

According to TMZ, the rapper's song "Clique" was his way to praise her about the sex tape issue in 2007.

The concept for "Bound 2" MV caught the eyes of many.

A random scene was included, featuring West driving a motorcycle while a topless Kardashian was straddling him. There were also kissing scenes to show how 'intimate' they were.

Fans were left clueless up to this date why the scene was included, though the rapper clarified that the MV was inspired by British Royalty, as per The Breakfast Club's reports.
