Meghan Markle 'Mirroring' Prince Diana: Bitter End Looming?

A royal insider revealed how deeply Meghan Markle is preoccupied with following the footsteps of her late mother-in-law, and it is also reported that Prince William is encouraging this obsession. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exceptional documentary interview generated a lot of concern to critics and fans, signifying that the "broken" Duchess of Sussex is "mirroring" Princess Diana's life. 

"Meghan always talks about how Diana would have understood her given they experienced the dark side of fame - with their treatment bearing striking similarities," an anonymous source of New Idea said. 

In their documentary, "Harry and Meghan: An African Journey," the royal couple opened up about the struggles they have been facing due to increasing public scrutiny since Meghan joined the family in 2017. 

According to commentator Tamera Mowry-Housley, the former actress appeared "broken" in her interview with ITV filmmaker Tom Bradby. The same broadcaster suggested that Meghan is also being subjected to the same pressure Princess Diana had to manage after being married to Prince Charles in 1981.

"In the beginning, when Princess Diana was engaged, when she was getting married, you saw this happy, excited, vivacious woman. It's the same thing with Meghan Markle. She's a feminist; she's very strongly opinionated. Now, in a way, she looks just broken, and that's what breaks my heart," Mowry-Housley explained. 

Due to the comments that had been said in the documentary, there have been negative public views on the lives of the members of the Royal Family. 

Many are wondering, does Meghan know what she's getting into? After all, when she and the Prince were still dating, the pressure was already high for her. 

According to a 2017 report, Meghan is copying Princess Diana to woo the Royals and "cement her place in the monarchy."

Meghan's half brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has reservations that his sister would even be the next Princess Diana. 

"I've read that Meg wants to be like a Diana. Everyone in the world worshiped Diana. She was loved for the right reasons. That's what she wants, but I don't think it's going to happen," Markle Jr. said. "She's not genuine like Diana. There's a whole different side of her that has started to surface, and it's ugly to see."

The Duchess of Sussex's brother said that Meghan wanted to depict herself as a charitable and generous person, but she is "none of those things to the family." He believes that the Prince's wife is "a fake," who has changed since getting into Hollywood.

Why are Meghan and Princess Diana Compared so Much? 

While the two never even crossed paths, it has been reported that they have so many things in common that people have ever realized. 

Meghan is a humanitarian, just like Princess Diana. She enjoys helping people and is often snapped intermingling with children while looking sincerely happy. Although Meghan was already a humanitarian even before she met Prince Harry, she certainly seems to be doing work that her late mother-in-law would praise. 

Like Prince Diana, Meghan was instantly accepted by Queen Elizabeth. She had no problem having a close relationship with Prince Harry's grandmother. In just less than a month the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married, Meghan was invited to make her first solo appearance with the queen.

While that may seem not a big deal, keep in mind that it took longer for Kate Middleton to do the same thing.
