Demi Lovato announced her comeback not only as a mightier woman but also as a singer.

Following her confession to Teen Vogue's Editor-in-Chief Lindsay Peoples Wagner about her "introspective" year, she teased her fans with her yet-to-be-released new music. The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer planned on releasing it to help the people remember that she is a singer, too.

Lovato went through her darkest moments, and she did not want her past to affect what is in store for the future. Though she did not reveal the exact release date of her new song, she hinted that she was just waiting for the perfect timing.

"I have new music coming. I didn't say when -- now I'm just teasing you. It's important to remember that I am so cautious this time around of jumping back into things," Lovato said.

"I've really decided to take my time with things," Demi said. "When the time is right, I will put it out there. I am dying to release new music ... but everything in due time."

Since the specified new music will be the first song of Lovato since her drug overdose incident last year, fans speculate that the song would be about how she won her battles to become the woman she is now.

The singer also showed how she became more confident, and people could expect that the album would be a bomb just like her previous song, "Sober".

The 2018 song, "Sober", became her bridge to let herself and everyone know that it was -- and it is still -- okay to open up about mental illness. She raised awareness through the song, and encouraged everyone who suffers to speak up and put the stigma away.

It also helped her to release the truth when she finally relapsed from her six-year-old sobriety.

Turning Hate to Inspiration

Lovato revealed that everything people told her -- all the hate and negative comments on and off social media -- affected her in every way since she is a very sensitive person.

However, since she learned that her life becomes only worth living when she is living for herself, Demi became more confident of what she is doing and overlooked what her haters have to say.

Recently, she posted a photo of her in a bikini which revealed her cellulite. Since then, she started promoting self-love more and asked her fans to love their bodies, too. She is also more focused now in keeping herself healthy rather than shaping her body based on what society deems as right or beautiful.

Lovato also reminded everyone who kept on leaving hateful comments to watch their comments online since she is still a human, and their words are still capable of hurting her.

"What I see in the mirror is someone that's overcome a lot. I've been through a lot and I genuinely see a fighter," Lovato told Wagner.

Soon, fans will see the fighter she has become through her new music, and fans certainly cannot wait anymore to hear her story through the soon-to-be-released song.
