When the discussion of bad tattoos came up during this week's episode of The Real, co-host Adrienne Bailon admitted that she has made plenty of mistakes when it comes to getting ink. 

"I've gotten pretty bad tattoos before," the 29-year-old said in reference to some ink she got for her ex-boyfriend Robert Kardashian.

She has a tattoo on her behind that reads, "Robert A. Kardashian." The ink job is one that she said she regrets getting done.

"It's awful. Ten-letter last name 'Kardashian,' it's pretty bad," she added. "Now that is a ratchet tattoo. I made a very bad decision. Don't follow my example."

Fellow co-host, singer Tamar Braxton defined the word ratchet as, "When you think you look good, but you really look a hot mess." Bailon then said she's in the process of having the tattoo removed. Still, she shouldn't feel too bad since Kardashian also has a tattoo of Bailon's full name on his rib cage.

Bailon and Kardashian began dating in 2007 but broke up two years later after he reportedly cheated on her. Following their breakup, Bailon spoke with The Huffington Post and explained how the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians played a part in their romance.

"When people fall in love with you as a couple on television, they only see a certain part of it," she said in her 2012 interview. "When they stop me in the street and say, 'Please get back together and give him another chance,' I'm just like, 'What?' It's weird."

Another reason the two didn't last is because of how different they are, she said in a 2012 interview with Power 105.1's Cherry Martinez.

"Sometimes I think the things that matter to us were different," she explained."Even on the show, they showed us at one point - the cleaning situation. I didn't have a maid growing up so I don't know what that's like to have someone constantly walking two steps behind me and cleaning up behind me."
