One of the hardest and most publicly nerve racking songs any performer can be asked to sing live has to be the National Anthem at any sporting event. Though for singer Macy Gray, who brought her signature smoky vocals to the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, she was met with some interesting reactions from a couple of well-known celebrities.

Mind you, she nailed all the lyrics, did what she does, and did it well, but Twitter was more interested in how hard LeBron James was trying to not burst out laughing during the performance. James can be seen during the song holding back nervous laughter as Gray put her own spin on the Anthem. Going from sultry to squeaky as her voice tends to do, James was cut to with a smile on his face, going so far as biting his lip to stop his snickers.

But King James wasn't the only one who had an interesting reaction to the singer's rendition. Comedian Bill Murray was also in attendance, only having the opposite expression. His was one of quiet confusion, mouth agape, as he listened. He too became the focus of the Twitter users who posted a screenshot of his less than enthused reaction.

Now, who is to say that LeBron James and Bill Murray weren't merely caught off guard when the cameras were rolling, leaving the Twitter trolls with fodder for more likes. Maybe James heard something funny before taking the court. Perhaps, Murray, who is 71, was just tired.

Either way, Macy Gray did her best and got it done. Trolls gonna troll.
