Michael Madsen is still mourning the death of his son, and now he's going through something personal again as the actor was reportedly arrested and taken to the hospital recently.

According to The Sun, as reported by Radar Online, the 64-year-old star was arrested on Wednesday evening in Malibu, California.

Before being taken to the police station, authorities made a trip to a hospital to get him checked. He was later booked, and bail was set to $500.

Three police cars went to the "Reservoir Dogs" star's house in Malibu to arrest him. Madsen was photographed being handcuffed by cops.

At the time of this writing, there are still no updates on what Madsen was arrested for and why he was taken to the hospital before being booked in the police station.

Neither the actor nor his family has spoken about the recent incident.

Michael Madsen's Son Dead at 26 Following an Apparent Suicide

The recent news comes a month after the actor's son, Hudson, died of an apparent suicide in Hawaii. The family confirmed the tragic news in a statement, saying Hudson Madsen died at the age of 26.

"We are heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson. His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him," the family told Metro.

According to a Honolulu Medical Examiner, Hudson Madson died of a gunshot. He was the "Kill Bill" star's oldest son among three children.

His brother, Kalvin Madsen, appeared to be distressed, as seen in photos obtained by Daily Mail UK.

He also took to his social media accounts to reveal that he was not ready to address his brother's death but told his followers to send him their memories of Hudson.

Not the First Time Michael Madsen Was Arrested

In a report published almost a decade ago, the "Thelma & Louise" actor was reportedly arrested for child cruelty after getting into a heated argument with his son.

According to The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the actor appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

His bail was set at $100,000 at the time.
