Cheryl Burke is still processing her divorce as she made a brave move to reminisce all the good memories with her estranged husband, Matthew Lawrence.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Dancing With The Stars" personality shared a series of snaps of herself while visiting the place where she exchanged vows and tied the knot with her soon-to-be ex-husband.

In the caption, the dancer revealed she's taking a few days alone to focus on herself, reflect, and "really try to feel my feelings."

She's not alone in her journey as she took her dog named Ysabella with her.

The TV star also shared an image on her stories with the dog, writing in the caption, "some time alone with this girl is just what I needed."

According to People Magazine, Burke tagged the location as Fairmont Grand Del Mar, a luxury resort in San Diego, California, where she got married in 2019.

The television personality's recent trip comes a few days after speaking out about her divorce from Lawrence for the first time.

Burke took to the social media platform to speak out on the matter, saying she's been an open book to her followers, but she realized there "isn't really an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending."

The "DWTS" contender filed for divorce from Matthew Larence on February 18, citing irreconcilable differences.

In early reports, the couple first met during "Dancing With the Star's" third season because Lawrence's brother, Joey Lawrence, was a contestant in the show.

They started dating in 2007, but it was short-lived. In 2017, they reunited and married in 2019 after getting engaged the year before.

It appears that the separation was sudden as Bruke was talking about having babies in the future a few months before filing the divorce.

The professional dancer wasn't sure if it was the perfect time to have babies as her career was thriving and she had to work.

In addition, she explained that she's not like other women who can have babies and "can bounce back" after a pregnancy. The reason behind it is her body and mental health.

"if I have this body image issue that I'm dealing with, again, if this [my head] is not okay I can't perform," she said in an interview with The Tamron Hall Show.
