Kim Kardashian Believes a Formal Custody Arrangement With Kanye West Will Not Work

It's not yet clear what kind of custody arrangement Kim and Kanye's four children will have, but it was discovered Kim doesn't want anything "organized." She does not believe that it will work, given the personality of Kanye West and the nature of their relationship.
By now, ideas of a reconcilation between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian should have been dashed. Not only have the court declared them finally legally single, the two have not necessarily reverted back to a civil friendship. Kanye just threatened to kill her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson after all.
Granted, Kanye just released a new music video, but it still showed Pete being... beheaded. How can Kim and Kanye be civil after that? For their kids however, there's a possibility.
This is precisely why Kim Kardashian does not think a formal custody arrangement will work.
The two share four kids, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago 4, and Psalm 2, which in normal circumstances of a split, should be subjected to a custody agreement. However, a friend said that " nothing is set in stone" because Kim doesn't want any kind of "formal custody agreement," and that a "structured" plan would be "impossible."
It's been a tumultuous time for Kim and Kanye since their breakup, and events like Chicago's 4th birthday celebration have exacerbated the situation. She quickly removed the "West" from her name after winning her legal struggle to be deemed "legally single" on March 2, and she did it on Instagram. A scary music video for Kanye's Pete Davidson diss hit "Eazy" was released soon after the court judgement was made public.

Kim Kardashian now does not want to have anything to do with her erratic ex, but she does not want her children to cut ties with their father, to say the least. She does not want to subject them in an agreement that will put limits on the amount of time they can spend with Kanye West.
"Kim will always put her kid's needs before hers," one source revealed to Hollywood Life. "Even though they're separated, Kim knows that Kanye is great with their kids, and she would never have to worry about him not putting them first. That's the one thing they can absolutely agree on at this point."
For Kim, putting her children first involves acknowledging how her divorce has affected them. As a result of the breakup, Kim wants to be as "flexible" as possible when it comes to ensuring that they have a feeling of "normalcy" in their life, according to a source.
Reportedly, the mom of four wants her children to know they may visit their father anytime they want and that there are no restrictions governing when they can or cannot. Additionally, given their hectic schedules, it would be very hard to come up with a well-organized plan, anyway.
Khloe Kardashian, Kim's younger sister, is an excellent role model when it comes to keeping a respectful custody arrangement. Tristan Thompson fathers Khloe Kardashian's 3-year-old daughter, True. In the wake of the revelation that Tristan fathered a kid with another woman, the ex-lovers had a turbulent relationship. As a result, they have devised their own informal custody agreement. "Although they're not together, they make it work for the sake of their daughter," the source shared. "Kim has every intention of doing the same."
In fact, one can say almost the same thing about her other sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Both have children of their own, and yet estranged from the fathers of their kids.
Granted however, Kourtney's relationship with Scott and Kylie's with Travis Scott are so much more civil than Kim's with Kanye. Kylie Jenner can even be said to have a chance of reconciling with Travis. The two just expanded their little family with baby number 2 but they still have not said officially that they have reconciled.
