According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the on-off couple attended Green Bay Packer's David Bakhtiari's wedding at Rosewood, Miramar Beach Hotel in Santa Barbara, California, over the weekend.
Insiders told E! News the pair expressed their love for each other in the event by holding hands as they walked around the lawn to go to the venue.
Eagle-eyed fans also spotted the two on the dancefloor in a video clip posted online by an attendee.
Today, a source spoke to People Magazine, revealing their actual score, saying they are not in a relationship but instead trying to "remain friendly."
Rodgers reportedly invited the actress "as a friend" in hopes of rekindling their romance.
In addition, the reason why they were spotted numerous times amid the news of their breakup is that the NFL athlete is trying to win his girlfriend back.
An insider said the couple was busy with their respective careers, and it wasn't possible to focus on their romance.
Once Rodgers isn't busy with his football career, "he wants to give it another try. He thinks Shailene is very special. She is more hesitant though."

The recent news comes a few weeks after the Green Bay Packers quarterback posted a cryptic post on his Instagram account where he thanked numerous people in his life, including the "Fault in our Stars" actress.
"thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life," Rodgers penned.
He also expressed his gratitude for her "incredible kindness" and the "unconditional love" he received.
The athlete concluded, "I love you and am grateful for you."
Prior to that, several reports made rounds on the internet about the couple calling off their engagement, citing career and schedule conflicts as the primary reason behind their breakup.
In addition, Woodley's friends reportedly didn't believe the football star was the best match for her.
