Maralee Nichols, Tristan Thompson's baby mama, has sold her opulent Houston condo - all while battling the NBA star in Los Angeles for child support. Is this precisely because she needs to survive, as the father of her child refused to help her?

According to real estate records, the former personal trainer has found a buyer for her 3,976-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home.

The listing now indicates a pending transaction with a sale price of $900,000. As previously reported, the mansion features an elevator, a chef's kitchen with German appliances, and a "fourth-floor game area with access to a spectacular rooftop patio."

After purchasing the pad in 2020, Nicholas updated it by installing security cameras, a small doorbell, and thermostats for each floor.

The residence is noteworthy because Nichols and Thompson battled in the court that has the jurisdiction of where she lives.  They initially met while she was a resident of Houston. However, she relocated to California following her pregnancy and filed a paternity claim.

Thompson attempted to have case transferred to Texas, claiming Nichols relocated to obtain a higher level of child support in Los Angeles. His case was ultimately dropped because his fling had no ties to the state following the birth of their child.

Nichols provided additional facts on Instagram after Radar broke the scoop that she was selling the home.

She claimed "that is an investment property I own. Yes, I'm selling it. It's been rented out and is still currently. I was not living in it."

"I have my own money," she added.

Nichols currently resides in a palatial apartment near Venice Beach. She recently filed court filings for $47,242 in child support every month.

She claims the Chicago Bulls player earns $9.7 million a year, while she earns nothing.

Thompson should also pay an additional $1 million in legal fees, according to Nichols. Her monthly expenditures include $3,500 on clothing.

"I've made a concerted effort to cut my expenses. Previously, my typical monthly apparel spending exceeded $5,000," Nichols stated.

Nichols argues in her argument that Thompson's first baby mama Jordan Craig reportedly receives at least $40,000 per month in child support from Tristan [and] lives a similarly affluent lifestyle, which includes living in a $3 million mansion in Los Angeles, driving multiple luxury vehicles, taking extravagant vacations, and dressing her son in designer clothing at a young age.
