Andrew Garfield's girlfriend Alyssa Miller has spoken out about the actual status of her relationship with the actor after rumors surrounding their split started circulating a few days back; what's the truth?

According to Daily Mail UK, the 32-year-old model confirmed on Instagram that she and the "Spider-Man" actor are still going strong and have not broken up.

Miller shared a never-before-seen photo from the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the event where they made their red carpet debut as a couple.

The model wrote in the caption, "If you must gossip at least use a cute photo. Lol love you AG," along with a butterfly emoji.

At the time of this writing, the actor has not publicly commented on the matter.

The latest photo comes almost a week after reports of the pair breaking up started circulating online.

Per an insider who spoke to The Sun, the two have been dating before going public, but it's hard for them to find time for each other because of their respective careers.

"On top of that, it became clear that there were some differences between them, and it was decided they are better off apart, for now at least," the source said. (via Page Six)

Although the insider said they were a "really beautiful couple" and their relationship was good at first, they still couldn't make it work.

About Garfield's reaction to the alleged breakup, the source revealed it was "disappointing" from the actor's perspective as he would love to take her to red carpet events.

Initially, reports state that the actor is doing his best to remain positive and has been taking time to focus on his personal growth for a few months.

Andrew Garfield, Alyssa Miller Relationship Timeline

Romance rumors started circulating after being photographed hand-in-hand in New York City a few months ago.

The couple were also spotted leaving a studio after filming "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," where Garfield promoted his Oscar-nominated film "Tick, Tick... Boom!"

A few months later, after they were first seen, they celebrated their pre-Valentine's day together by playing tennis.

The couple later made their relationship official by attending the red carpet of this year's Screen Actor Guild Awards.

Andrew Garfield is not the first celebrity Miller had reportedly dated in the past, as she was previously linked to stars like Jake Gyllenhaal and "Tame Impala" member Cam Avery.
