Prince Harry might return to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II even without Meghan Markle, a royal expert claimed.

Amid the issues surrounding the royal family - including Queen Elizabeth II's health woes - Prince Harry has not come back to the monarchy to help them as one of the heirs to the throne. He notably returned only to attend Prince Philip's funeral and during the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue.

But this time, the royal prince might leave his wife to be with the Queen.

Royal correspondent Richard Palmer recently spoke during the Express' Royal Round-Up and revealed how he expected Prince Harry to return to the UK without Meghan.

"I think he needs to stay onboard publicly at least with the Queen. He has been very clear in trying to distinguish between criticism he and Meghan have made of the institution with criticism of the Queen. I think they have avoided criticizing the Queen," he said, as quoted by Express.

However, Prince Harry recently missed his grandfather's memorial service at Westminster Abbey. Instead, he decided to be present at the Invictus Games' The Hague.

Can Prince Harry Be Near Queen Elizabeth II?

If the Duke of Sussex would indeed decide to jet back to the UK, he might encounter a problem as only people in the "living room" can meet Queen Elizabeth II as her health worsens.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey recently uploaded a video for The Telegraph and revealed that "more people are going to be coming to the Queen rather than her traveling to them."

"I think we're going to see more of the Queen in situ, and she might get to where she needs to be in private and then be photographed on the spot," she explained. "That being said, we had some lovely photographs last week of an audience in her living room. That's going to be happening more frequently now."

The 95-year-old monarch will reportedly rest for now, even on important events. But she still reportedly makes exceptions, as she did during Prince Philip's memorial service on March 29.

Tominey added that despite Queen Elizabeth II's health status, she was determined to be present at her late husband's memorial service.

In the end, the expert noted that the Queen might not be having health problems but mobility issues instead.
