If you love Halloween, then you probably have a special fondness in your heart for Spirit Halloween - the strange and mysterious Halloween-themed warehouse store that, like some kind of haunted hermit crab, shows up in the shells of empty or dilapidated stores, making you struggle to remember what was ever there in the first place.

Well, now you can put that fondness to good use, because they're making a whole movie about it.

That's right - Spirit Halloween themselves are teaming up with Hideout Pictures and Particular Crowd to create a movie based on their strange, transient store chain - and they've tapped Back To The Future actor Christopher Lloyd to play a leading role.

The film is called - surprise - Spirit Halloween. According to Variety:

"When a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall, three middle-school friends who think they've outgrown trick-or-treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night...but they soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters. The kids embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves."

Of course, a Halloween story about kids who get trapped inside a Spirit Halloween would be nothing without the actual kids; Other actors for the film will include Donavan Colan of Zoe, Dylan Frankel and Marissa Reyes of Raven's Home, and Jaiden Smith of Blue Bloods.

Spirit Halloween has already wrapped filming - you can look forward to seeing it sometime this October!
