Amber Heard faced a damaging setback when Johnny Depp's private nurse finally detailed her horrifying behavior toward the actor.

Heard and Depp are in a neck-to-neck battle amid the defamation trial that started on April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor is suing his ex-wife over her December 2018 The Washington Post op-ed where she claimed she was a victim of domestic violence.

For this week, Depp's private nurse, Debbie Lloyd, became one of the latest witnesses who testified in the case. According to Lloyd, Heard tried to instigate Depp by following him "from room to room and not give him his space."

Her deposition, which was recorded on March 8, was played in the court and detailed those incidents.

Lloyd recalled how the "Aquaman" actress described Depp's behavior as something like a "mania." The label did not bring benefits to the actor but, instead, highlighted Heard's negative conduct.

She then said that Heard provoked Depp multiple times, and she witnessed those incidents more than once.

"He was going from room to room trying to remove himself from a situation and she would just follow him from room to room and not give him his space," she said.

Lloyd added that, while she saw similar behavior on other occasions, she did not know about those arguments becoming physical.

In the deposition, Lloyd took her time to enumerate some of those events.

As quoted by The Independent, Depp's private nurse recalled seeing the actor sitting at a table and "not wanting to talk." Instead of giving him space, Heard reportedly would not leave the table despite Depp's plea to her to "go away."

It happened again when she and Depp were trying to leave the penthouse. Heard stood in the elevator since she did not want the actor to leave.

After seeing those events, Lloyd reportedly felt concerned for Depp whenever an argument broke out since the quarrels were a trigger for him. As he had been dealing with personal issues at that time, he reportedly felt upset and more stressed because of the arguments.

Lloyd's testimony resonated with what the estranged couple's former marriage counselor told the court. Dr. Laurel Anderson said that the former couple was engaged in mutual abuse. But he also noted that Heard triggered Depp all the time.

"I know she led (the fights) on more than one occasion and started it to keep him with her because abandonment and having him leave was her worst nightmare," Dr. Anderson said. "Miss Heard reported that it was a point of pride to her if she felt disrespected to initiate a fight. Her father had beaten her, she was not going to end."
