After nearly five years of dating, two divorces, and the birth of their son Laurie, Ewan McGregor, 51, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 37,  have finally tied the knot. With only a few family members and close friends in attendance the former Fargo actors were wed during a small ceremony last weekend.

According to sources reported on by People

"It was a small wedding for family and close friends. They had an outdoor ceremony. It was lovely and joyful. The menu was farm-to-table. They are an adorable couple. They are pretty low-key and like their canyon life. They often hike and go to the beach."

The couple, who met back in 2016 while filming the FX series Fargo Season Three, were both in previous marriages when they began their relationship. McGregor divorced from his wife, Eve Mavrakis, of 22 years in 2018, finalizing the split in 2020. The couple have four children together.

Winstead broke from her husband Riley Stearns in 2016 after seven years. She spoke openly to Glamour UK about her feeling after the breakup,

"I got divorced a couple of years ago, which was a scary, crazy thing for me because I had been with the same person since I was 18 years old, and that was what I knew. I was really starting new as an adult for the first time in my life. For me that was a big turning point, being okay with changing, accepting that change is a good thing and that it's okay not to know where that change is going to take you."

The happy couple are also going to appear, separately, in future Star Wars projects on Disney+. McGregor will be reprising his role as the legendary Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, due to land on the streaming service starting May 27th, while Winstead is set to star in the upcoming Ahsoka, co-starring with Rosario Dawson as the titular character.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if their paths cross again somewhere in a galaxy far, far away.
