Amber Heard's legal team made a shocking claim in court, alleging that the actress' "former" best friend, Raquel "Rocky" Pennington, assaulted her. To put this into context, Pennington is a mixed martial artist who competes in the women's featherweight class.

The alarming claim was made during Dr. Shannon Curry's Tuesday testimony as a clinical and forensic psychologist.

Dr. Curry testified in court that after visiting with Heard twice in 2021 and researching her medical history and therapy, she diagnosed Johnny Depp's ex-wife with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.

Both diseases, she explained, are "dramatic, chaotic, and emotional," and are frequently "unpredictable."

Dr. Curry was questioned during her testimony regarding an alleged physical altercation between Heard and Pennington while the "former" pals were out shopping for Thanksgiving. According to reports, the Aquaman actress struck the MMA fighter in the face "out of nowhere."

Dr. Curry said that individuals with these diseases may lash out when their "needs" are not met. Heard's legal team, on the other hand, threw a surprise by claiming she wasn't the only one in the friendship who got physical.

Pennington also struck Heard, according to the actress' lawyer. The mixed martial artist and her ex-husband Josh Drew became embroiled in Depp's defamation case against Heard.

Drew even provided a deposition in which he claimed Heard had a threesome at Depp's penthouse with Elon Musk and Cara Delevingne.

The doctor also now have an explanation as to why Amber Heard could be "copying" Depp's style at one point, which was noticed by the fans. Dr. Curry stated that "when somebody with this disorder is going through that initial enmeshment phase they often will take on the identities of those people."

They might "mimic the way they dress" or "the way they talk." She reemphasized that their attire, music, and hobbies might also be altered.

Depp and Heard are locked in a $100 million defamation dispute in court. He sued her for $50 million in connection with an op-ed she penned in the Washington Post detailing her experience with domestic abuse. She made no mention of him in the paper, but Depp thinks the allegations cost him his Hollywood contract.

Heard countersued for $100 million, alleging that he intended to ruin her career by slandering her name.
