Is Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's wedding going to be called off due to prenuptial issues?

The pregnant pop diva is said to be eager to marry as soon as possible, but she and her fiance are still working out their prenuptial agreement, which is causing quite a snag.

According to an insider quoted in the print edition of Us Weekly via OK, "The negotiations have taken longer than normal. Should their marriage dissolve, Sam seeks significant raises every five years."

Another insider stated that, while the process is taking longer than expected, conversations are believed to be "respectable" in ensuring that Britney's possessions and the fitness instructor are secured so that if the couple ever divorces, the 28-year-old hunk will not be left penniless.

Britney Spears has no authority over her $60 million net worth while she is in a 14-year conservatorship, and the 40-year-old has no interest in learning any of her own financial data.

She is simply concerned, and she is preoccupied with preparing their wedding.

"Britney is staying out of the whole thing. She's simply letting her lawyers negotiate with Sam's team."

Fans Respond to Sam Asghari's Prenup Demand

When Britney Spears' followers learned that Sam Asghari wants "significant increments for every five years" he's been married to her, should the marriage break, they were outraged because they assumed he wasn't after the money.

In an Exhale forum, one user suggested that the "Toxic" singer learn about her finances and prenups.

"What makes her think she doesn't want to be involved and should just leave it to the lawyers? She needs to comprehend her finances, prenups, and other such things. She's been duped so many times that it's in her best interests to know and comprehend where her money is going."

There are still no information regarding the planned wedding, but one thing is certain: according to OK magazine, the "Baby One More Time" singer will walk down the aisle in a dress made by Donatella Versace.

Aside from working out the prenup, planning the wedding, and making other major changes in her life following the termination of her conservatorship in November 2021, the mom-of-two has also gone on a "social media hiatus," which surprised her fans given her unusually excessive Instagram posts about her newly-freed life, topless and naked pictures, and even bashing her family.

Britney also intimated last month that she would be reducing her social commitments after announcing her third pregnancy.
