A preacher believes the actor from "Pirates of the Caribbean" is possessed. He attributes the actor's current actions to "pirate devils" who allegedly took over his body.

Pastor Bob Larson shared a video on Instagram suggesting that pirate demons exist, but that he doesn't see them very often in the United States.

When he's in a seaside city or the Caribbean, the pastor says he sees "many" of them, confronts some of them, and even "casts them out."

"So, this whole Jack Sparrow role?" Pastor Bob continued. There's some truth to it, and I'm curious: Did Depp develop true pirate demons from portraying Jack Sparrow?"

Metal music, according to the preacher and self-proclaimed exorcist, was "the common thread among mixed-up youngsters."

The pastor of the Spiritual Freedom Church in Phoenix, Arizona, even had a role in the 1980s "Satanic Panic."

Pastor Bob declared in 1992 that metal music and lyrics "make things worse or better."

The video's intention was to discuss "Satanism, loneliness, and a lack of faith," but it ended up doing more harm than good by instilling fear and hatred throughout.

An exorcism by Pastor Bob, on the other hand, will be ineffective.

After the video went viral, some admirers mocked him and made jokes on his post.

"Real Pirate Demons should be the name of Depp's new band!" one commenter suggested.

"Next Halloween costume is finished!" remarked another.
