20th Century Fox Releases Early Clip From 'The Bob's Burgers Movie' Before It Hits Theaters Next Week

Fans of Bob's Burgers have been given a small taste of what's on the menu in the long anticipated Bob's Burgers Movie. Hopefully, it will tide them over until the film hits theaters on May 27.

This first feature length foray for the Belcher brood has Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Linda (John Roberts) dealing with their usual money issues, but when a pipe bursts outside of their restaurant, things go from bad to worse.

Hoping to help pull their parents out of their financial woes, Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) uncover a mystery that could fix everything, and allow them to reopen for the summer rush.

The new clip released by 20th Century Fox takes place in the restaurant as Bob is preparing a special burger for the loan officer at their bank, in hopes of getting an extension. What follows is the usual witty back-and-forth fans of the show know and love.

The film, which was announced back in 2017 by creator Loren Bouchard, has a sharper animation style than its television counterpart, showcasing all the earmarks of a studio polish for the big screen - complete with a even more quirky musical numbers than usual.

Bouchard wrote this about the project:

"We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who've never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob's, but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?"

The Bob's Burgers Movie will be serving up the laughs when it hits theaters on May 27.
