The final trailer for director Jordan Peele's third cinematic outing, Nope, has dropped, answering as many questions about the first trailer as it does leaving us with more questions.

The first trailer played during the Super Bowl back in February, and, much the way Peele's first two films Get Out and Us kept audiences guessing as to their actual plots, Nope was an enigma people poured over trying to figure out any possible clues.

Further speculation came from the poster art released not long after, where objects were being sucked into the sky by some unknown force, leaving the only logical choice to be an alien abduction storyline.

The final trailer has the leads, Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, grieving the sudden and mysterious death of their horse rancher father (played by Keith David).

They soon decide to begin investigating the strange skyward phenomenon which has been hovering over their town, hiring people to try and catch a glimpse of whatever it is on film. Thought to be aliens, they begin to witness strange occurrences, like items being taken away to the clouds, and eventually a blood red substance raining down on their ranch house - making them think they have made the mysterious entity angry.

The trailer plays a series of clips from the film, culminating in a shot of what appears to be an alien ship swooping down on them.

But that's just what the trailer is giving us - what actually occurs in the film could be just about anything.

For instance, who's to say this is aliens? Who's to say the red substance wasn't from the Icee stand featured in the trailer?

Anything goes when it comes to a Jordan Peele film. That's all part of the fun, is it not?

We can all find out what this is all about together when Nope hits theaters on July 22.
