Exciting new tidbits of information about Greta Gerwig's upcoming film Barbie continue to slowly but surely reach our ears. Members of the cast have been released, seemingly, one at a time. We have known for a while that Margot Robbie will lead the film. We have also discovered that the movie will feature Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Nicola Coughlan, Kate McKinnon, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Issa Rae, Hari Nef, and Will Ferrell. Today, we have a new surprise in this Barbie Dreamhouse of a movie. We officially have a first look photo of Ryan Gosling in the role of Ken

If we were excited to see this movie before, we are over the moon about it now! Gosling is made up to bear a striking resemblance to the iconic doll. The bleached blonde hair, the open denim vest, and the abs (that we knew Gosling had anyway) really sell the perfect Matel package. Much in the way we know that Robbie will not be the only one to portray Barbie in the film, we know that Gosling will not be the only Ken. This first picture of Ken is definitely ICONIC!

Plot details have been kept very well under wraps- much like anyone who has ever opened up a Barbie doll will be very familiar with. We are so excited that we are getting these twist ties and pieces of plastic off one by one.
