Will Forte is set to star in a new series for Netflix that is being produced by Barack and Michelle Obama.

A new series titled Bodkin is making its way to Netflix. This drama series is being produced by former President of the United States Barack and Michelle Obama's production company. Their production company is called Higher Ground. Bodkin will mark the first scripted drama series that the company has ever produced. Production for this show will begin in Ireland next week. We are continuing to get details about who is in the cast of this breakout series. It has been officially announced that the incredible Will Forte will be starring in the show.

Will Forte has become especially known for his work in comedies. While this upcoming series is more of a dramatic-comedic-thriller, it will still be very interesting to watch him stretch his acting chops and take on this new role. Forte joins an already incredible cast including Siobhan Cullen, Robyn Cara, David Wilmot, and Chris Walley. With this powerhouse team, we are sure that Bodkin will be an immense success.

Bodkin will chronicle the story of something near and dear to the modern hearts of the world: podcasters. According to a description on Deadline, the show:

"is a darkly comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction - about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves - the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears."

We can't wait to see Bodkin when it comes to the Netflix screen.
