Rebel Wilson Gets Candid About Recent Weight Gain on Holiday, Asks Fans to Do THIS

Rebel Wilson is getting honest about her body image and weight journey as she shared on Instagram that she gained a few kilos after going on vacation.

In the post, the "Pitch Perfect" actress proudly shared a photo of herself wearing an off-shoulder pink bikini and a white cover-up while posing in front of a pool in Cappadocia, Turkey.

She revealed in the caption that she "put on 3 kg's" during her holiday as she stayed at an all-inclusive resort where she "lost all self control."

However, instead of being guilty and not feeling good after overeating food, the Australian comedian said she could still get up the following day, work out, eat healthily and love herself.

The "Senior High" star also gave an impactful quote to her fans, writing, "but if you're like me just know YOU are more than just your weight, your weight doesn't define you."

To conclude her inspiring post, Wilson asked her fans to try their best to be healthy and "don't be so hard on yourself."

According to People Magazine, the latest social media post comes a few months after Wilson openly shared her desire to be a mother; this is one of the biggest factors why she lost weight.

Speaking about her journey to the outlet, her fertility doctor said she'd get a bigger chance of harvesting and freezing her eggs if she lost weight.

At first, the actress said she was offended as she thought the "guy" was rude for telling her she'd do much better if she were "healthier."

However, it made her realize a significant thing.

"I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It's almost like I didn't think of my own needs. I thought of a future child's needs that really inspired me to get healthier," she told the outlet.

In recent updates, the actress shared her vacation pictures with her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma.

The two, along with a few other friends, stayed at a resort in Turkey over the weekend.

Agruma and Wilson publicized their relationship last month when the latter took to her social media accounts to reveal that she thought she'd been searching for a "Disney Prince," but all she needed was a "Disney Princess."

Even though they just came out in June, sources told the outlet that they have been dating since January this year.
