Jamie Foxx is working the Day Shift in his latest Netflix original film.

Brought to us by the crew who worked on some of the John Wick series, the trailer is a bloodbath of vampire-killing action that looks so good it's scary.

Day Shift is an action-comedy in which Foxx plays a vampire hunter, who is trying to get back in the good graces of the vampire hunting union due to a few missteps in the past.

Given his last chance - thanks to his handler, played by Snoop Dogg - Foxx is trying to raise enough cash to take care of his daughter and get his life back on track. Now also trying to get his rep back, and joined by a dorky suit played by James Franco (whom he saved from a vamp attack,) the two set out to take down some bloodsuckers.

From the trailer, looks like audiences are in for a hell of a ride.

The film is directed by former stuntman J.J. Perry, who is cutting his teeth on this film - no pun intended.

No stranger to high-octane action flicks, Perry has worked on several films such as The Rundown, The Fate of the Furious, and John Wick Chapter 2 as a stunt coordinator, very similar to the move made by fellow stuntman turned auteur Chad Stahelski of the John Wick franchise.

Raw, bloody, and funny, the trailer plays like a thrill ride for the senses, taking its hero through a litany of crazy scenarios and badass set pieces - all the while keeping the story lighthearted and full of laughs we have come to expect from Jamie Foxx.

Day Shift will hit Netflix on August 12.
