Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series, shared some thoughts on his co-star Jennifer Lawrence on Monday.

In a Monday interview with Good Morning America, Hemsworth praised Lawrence, who plays the film's leading lady, Katniss Everdeen, saying, "Nothing has gone to her head over the last few years."

He said, "you wouldn't even know" that Lawrence had won an Oscar in 2013 for her performance in the romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook.

Hemsworth then discussed the 22-year-old actress' personality and what she brings to set.

"When I first met her, she was full of life and brings such a great energy to set," he explained. "When you're shooting the tough stuff like the themes in the Hunger Games, it can be a little dark, and she's got such a great energy about her and she's still that way."

This isn't the first time a Hunger Games co-star has gushed over Lawrence. Enstars previously reported about Josh Hutcherson, who plays Katniss' on again-off again boyfriend Peeta Mellark in the film franchise, and had some equally praiseworthy comments for Lawrence in late July.

"It was really amazing," Hutcherson said, referring to Lawrence's Oscar win. "It couldn't happen to a more deserving, nicer, down to earth, like truly talented person. I feel like sometimes it can be a fluke, and it's not a fluke. She's legit. The fact that she can go from doing an Academy Award-winning movie to X-Men to Hunger Games. Just, like, the versatility is inspiring."

Catching Fire, the second film in The Hunger Games franchise, will be released on Nov. 22 in theaters nationwide. Production will begin on Mockingjay Part 1, the third film, in September.
