It's a Netflix vs. Netflix duel, and the winner will be determined by whether viewers watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's documentary or the highly anticipated drama "The Crown."

According to Page Six, Netflix is keen to air the docuseries before the end of this year and even wants to tie it in with "The Crown." It remains to be seen if it would be as successful, or would end up flopping, given how the public's sentiments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not that solid.

The publication of the two Netflix series will be linked to the publishing of Prince Harry's memoir, which is also scheduled for the autumn.

"There's a lot to arrange and a lot going on here. Netflix wants to make sure they get in there and don't get scooped" by the unnamed biography of the Duke of Sussex.

According to the publication, Netflix executives are eager to broadcast Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's program, which they have been working on for more than a year after signing a $20 million deal with them last year.

The documentary will be published in November, just after the fifth season of "The Crown."

According to a previous claim by the site, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want the docuseries to premiere in 2023.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry's much awaited memoir is also planned to be released in the fall, although it will be released before "The Crown."

The book, written by JR Moehringer, is claimed to discuss the Duke of Sussex's boyhood and military service, including anecdotes that may cause controversy for the British royal family.

As previously reported, the series starring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is being directed by Liz Garbus, who directed the latest seasonof "The Handmaid's Tale" and has also been seen shooting the Sussexes.
