Meghan Markle, according to a royal author, will carve herself a separate career path.

The Duchess of Sussex has lately spoken out on a number of crucial subjects, including advocating for more parental leave in the United States.

It is presumed that she wishes to pursue a political career and is already laying the groundwork.

Tom Bower, author of "Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors," believes the Sussexes are aiming for a seat in the House of Representatives.

According to the Daily Mail, he believes it will only be a matter of time until the former "Suits" star begins a full-fledged political onslaught.

"I believe she would enjoy a political position; I believe she will first see her children enter school; she will lay the groundwork for it."

"But she's a really well-looking woman, she's feisty, she's got her causes like parental rights - there have been worse individuals who have been congresswomen, so there's a decent possibility," Bower said.

However, the author did mention that a political career may be difficult for the mother of two.

The first reason is that politicians are said to be "extremely poorly paid," while Meghan Markle is said to require a lot of money to "live."

"Secondly, in a political struggle, you have to be quite harsh."

"Whether she can be that tough and insensitive to go with the rocks and rolls, we'll see - she can't sue people in Britain for attacking her as she'd want to," he continued.

Meghan Markle Urged to Stay Out of Politics

Meghan Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has urged her and her husband, Prince Harry, to keep out of politics, saying he would leave the United States if his sister ran for government.

"The Sussexes ought to stick to saving hens in Montecito and stay out of politics," Thomas Jr. told "GB" host Dan Wootton.

His remarks follow the Sussexes' decision to speak at the United Nations General Assembly on July 18 to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day.

"Then you start talking about international peace and politics, which has nothing to do with anything there at that point," he remarked of Prince Harry's speech.

If Thomas Jr. leaves the United States, he joked to the presenter that he may go to the United Kingdom instead.

The estranged brother also chastised his famous sister for how she handles their father, Thomas Sr., who suffered a stroke in May and has since lost his speech.

When asked if the former star contacted her father following his medical incident, Thomas Jr. said, "Nothing, nothing, nothing. Absolute zero."
