Following the split of the couple last year, Ioan Gruffudd has been granted a three-year restraining order against his ex-wife Alice Evans after allegations of "abandoning his own children.

Gruffudd can now breathe a little better without carrying a heavy heart caused by Alice Evans as the court granted the restraining order against ex-wife.

Previously, Gruffudd was accused by enstranged wife Evans about him "abandoning" their children, Ella and Elsie for a "babe half his age."

British-American actress Evans took to Twitter and posted a series of emotionally disturbing statements regarding their family situation. 

One of her posts read: "We haven't even started meditating. It's insanity . . . The kids haven't even been told he's not coming back. His toothbrush is still next to the sink! I feel like I'm hallucinating."

Evans also said that she had been trying to fix herself after split with Gruffudd.

Last month, Evans used social media again as her platform in voicing her "truth." In the shared snap of the conversation Ella  and Gruffudd had, it says that her ex is informing their daughter that he is not able to visit her because his girlfriend Bianca Wallace needs a little extra care from him due to health issues.

The conversation continued and ended with a decision of Gruffudd that he will not take her daughter to the concert because of her wrong attitude.

With all the "cyber harassment" that the Welsh actor was receiving from Evans, he then decided to take legal actions.

Recently, Gruffudd won a temporary restraining order against Evans.

The hearing happened last August 2 at the Superior Court of California's Family Division wherein Evans lost to Gruffudd.

The legal documents obtained by the Mirror stated that the court is granting the actor a three-year restraining order against his ex wife which will expire on August 2, 2025.

Evans is also ordered by the court as to what the documents said that she's not make anymore social media posts on any account  "including but not limited to Instagram and Twitter accounts, disparaging or harassing [Ioan] or the other protected person."

The documents stated also that Evans should not post the "text messages" or any communications between Gruffudd and his children on any platforms.

The girlfriend of Gruffudd, Wallace is also included in the documents as Evans continues to harass, threaten and disturb the peace of the new couple.

Alice and Gruffudd split in March last year after meeting on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000.
