The court demands Kevin Spacey to pay the producers of the "House of Cards" a total amount of $31 million after breaching the contract.

Following the alleged "sexual harrassment" which took place behind the scenes of "House of Cards," wherein the actor was accused of sexually preying upon young men, the actor's life has been ruined even after the dismissal of the case.

In a report, it says that the arbitrator ruled that Spacey "must" pay the producers of the show, MRC Entertainment a total amount of $31 million as a fee for the "damage" caused by the allegations of "sexual harassment" at Spacey since it delays the production shoot.

According to the documents concluded by the arbitrator, Spacey "breached" his contractual obligations to provide services in a professional manner and consistent reasonable directions, practices and policies like anti-harassment policies.

More so, it is stated that the actor is not entitled for the payment for the rest of his contract since he breached it which affected the show's timeline of production and as a result, the sixth season needs to be shortened and also rewritten which is from 13 supposedly episodes down  to eight episodes to meet a delivery deadline.

Finding the arbitrator ruling unfair, the legal team of Spacey together with the actor then gave their best to file an appeal denying the accusatios of harassment and argues that he "participated in a pervasive on-set culture that was filled with sexual innuendoes, jokes and innocent horseplay".

Previously, the actor was first ordered to pay the damage fee to MRC Entertainment production company after the "allegations" of sexual wrongdoing which involves "crew members" of the show.

The investigation was carried out after the incident was made public.  A production assistant reported that the Seven actor had "groped" him and because of the "issue" the actor was fired from the Netflix series in 2017.

Meanwhile, Spacey and his attorneys filed an appeal but the court has denied the request and demanding him to settle the $31 million ruling now.

In a recent report, Judge Mel Red Racana says that Spacey and his attorneys "fail to demonstrate that this is even a close clase."

The judge Racana also stated that the damages award was rational so do not demonstrate the opposite  and that "it amounts to an arbitrary remaking of the parties' contracts."
