Robyn Griggs, a soap actress who famously appeared in "One Life to Live" and "Another World," died. She was 49.

Griggs' representative confirmed the saddening news through the actress's Facebook page on Saturday.

"With a heavy heart, I am saddened to announce Robyn's passing. However, she is no longer suffering and would want us to remember that and the good memories. I will never forget how open she was to telling her story, and accepting of me helping her tell it. She wanted to help people and spread the word of her story to do it. I was honored to do so," the post read.

The post did not mention Robyn Griggs' cause of death, but another update revealed that she enter hospice care as she battled cervical cancer.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention describes it a cancer that starts in the cervix, the part that connects the vagina to the upper part of the uterus. Women aged 30 and above and with long-lasting infection with types of human papillomavirus (HPV) have a higher risk of developing the disease.

Deadline noted that, last month, she disclosed that she had four new tumors in the organ. Griggs divulged two new tumors surfaced on her liver, while the other two grew on her abdominal muscle and on the right lymph node.

Following her passing, "Another World" fans and her other supporters sent heartfelt tributes to the actress.

One said, "Ray Liotta, Anne Heche and Robyn Griggs, so much pain, suffering and loss for our beloved #AnotherWorld cast. Sending [blue hearth emoji] to all their families. Enjoyed you all so much through the years."

Robyn Griggs' Legacy Explored

Pennsylvania native actress, who was born on Apr. 30, 1973, first appeared on Nickelodeon's "Rated K," which featured young people reviewing different films. The program ran from 1986 to 1988.

From there, she landed in more films including "Severe Injuries," "Dead Clowns," "The Absence of Light," and "Hellweek."

Among her projects, her appearance in the daytime soap opera "One Life To Live" became one of the most notable ones as it led her to earn a nomination for Young Artist Award.

She appeared in "Another World" as Maggie Cory but was fired in 1995. Despite that, she scored the show "Hard Copy" due to her "secret relationship" with John Wayne Bobbitt.

Her death occurred only years after she first revealed in 2020 that she had stage 4 cervical cancer.
