Nude photos of Lindsay Lohan, which were taken as she filmed her latest movie The Canyons, went viral on Monday.

Lohan, 27, appears in the film alongside real-life adult film star Paul Deen. The film arrived in limited theaters on Friday. In the pictures, which were allegedly leaked as a promotional stunt by the film's producers, the former Disney star posses topless in a variety of scenes. It's not the first time the actress has appeared nude before cameras, Lohan stripped down for the first time in a 2011 issue of Playboy magazine.

The Canyons features Lohan opposite Deen, who landed in the spotlight this year after he filmed a sex tape with MTV Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham. The Vivid adult film was deemed Back Door Teen Mom.

The Canyons features several sexually explicit scenes, some of which were put on the internet via Egotastic. Lohan takes part in an orgy with three adult film stars at one point in the movie, and asks Deen's character--her onscreen boyfriend--to kiss another man. She also shares a passionate kiss with a woman and appears in a nude shower scene.

Deen told The Daily Beast  that Lohan insisted the entire film crew strip down to their underwear to make her feel more comfortable while shooting her topless scenes.

"She [Lohan] said, 'When Julia Roberts does topless scenes, she makes the whole crew shoot in their boxers! I want that!' And the whole crew just rolled their eyes and was like, 'We're not doing that. We'll do that for f**kin' Julia Roberts, but not you. Go find another crew; we'll just leave'," Deen recalled.

"Schrader looked her dead in the eyes and said, 'I'm not making my f**king crew do that, but you know what?' And then he stripped off all his clothes except for his socks, strutted across the room to the monitor, stood there, and just said, 'ACTION!' And the cameras immediately started rolling, Lindsay jumped in the bed, and we nailed it in one 15-minute take."

Lohan has had a busy week since she left rehab on July 30. She spent 90 days at the Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center in Califoria.

The 27-year-old also filled in for Chelsea Handler and hosted Chelsea Lately on Monday, Aug. 5, and she recently filmed an interview for an upcoming episdoe of Oprah's Next Chapter. Lohan will appear on the O network again in 2014 for her own eight-episode documentary series.
