Surprise! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be returning to the United Kingdom next month for a surprise visit: what are their main agendas in September?

According to the Mirror UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be attending the One Young World Summit in Manchester. The event is expected to bring young leaders together from all around the world in one big venue.

Markle is among the list of attendees because she's a part of the organization as a counselor. Other notable members are Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sir Richard Branson, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and many more.

After the leadership event, the couple will then travel to Germany for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event.

On other agendas, they will also visit and support "several charities close to their hearts" around the country.

On September 8, the Duke and Duchess will head back to the UK for the WellChild Awards.

As of this writing, the spokesperson for the couple has not revealed whether the pair will have an interaction with the royal family.

When Did Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Last Visit the United Kingdom?

The recent announcement comes almost two months after the Sussexes went to the country for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

It was previously reported that Harry and his wife have finally introduced their baby girl Lilibet Diana to Her Royal Highness.

Although the pair traveled to the UK for Her Majesty's significant milestone, they only attended one of the many scheduled festivities throughout June.

Speaking to Lorraine months ago, royal author Tina Brown said their presence was "awkward" as it appears that "they were there but not really present."

"It was great that they were able to introduce Lilibet to the Queen. I'm sure that everyone wanted that to happen. But it clearly was uncomfortable that they were there but not really present. It was awkward," she said.

This isn't the first time the Duke visited his grandmother this year as they reportedly met after he had a "secret visit" in the Netherlands back in April.

In other reports, Ken Wharfe, an author and former police protection for the Princes of Cambridge and Sussex, claimed that the couple could possibly leave California and move to the United Kingdom again to assume new roles when Prince Harry takes the throne.
