The in-store displays of Kanye West's new Yeezy Gap collection are garnering a lot of attention. At age 45, Kanye already experienced so many controversies - with his music career, with his personal life - but it appears he's not tired of pushing the buttons.

According to a social media user who tweeted a photo of numerous stuffed bags on the floor of a Gap store, the rapper allegedly ordered that the apparel be sold in trash bags rather than on the store's racks.

While some would see the "creativity" and "ingenuity" of it, it cannot be denied that in practical sense, he made not just the lives of his customers harder, but also made the work of the Gap employees incredibly more taxing.

The user further reported that one of the staff stated West became "angry" when the items were initially hung on hooks alongside the other garments.

"This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP. The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it. They won't help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything," the user captioned the photo on Twitter.

Before the exhibit made headlines, Kanye came to Instagram to ostensibly announce that the bags were inspired by the homeless, but that didn't stop followers, critics, and jokesters from sharing their disapproval and humor. He could have been "inspired" by the homeless without making his own fans experience difficulties, after all.

"Kanye got people thrifting at Gap," one social media user wrote.

"Workin at Yeezy Gap is gonna be Hell," another shared. One is much more progressive and said this must be some form of a social prank. The user said he's "convinced" that "the Kanye Gap collection has to be a social experiment."

One thinks this is just payback time. "Kanye literally worked at The Gap. He knows what he's doing to those employees," the user wrote.

Others said it does not make sense. "Kanye has a whole song about how much he hated working at the Gap. Why would he make Gap employees' lives harder?" the user asked before continuing with, "Whole store is about to look like laundry baskets threw up. They're gonna have one cashier and everybody else doing recovery."

Most likely, the user was referring to Kanye West's 2004 song "Spaceship," in which he raps about how his payslip in Gap was nothing to brag about.

In 2015, Kanye expanded on his customer service position. He disclosed that he was only 15 years old and that it was one of his first jobs. He said it was there when he realized that he loves clothes, although he did not think then that he wanted to actually be in the business of fashion.
