With the second season of "The Kardashians" coming this September, fans are wondering if Kim's ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson will make the cut on her reality show after their fresh breakup.

Hulu recently dropped the trailer for the second season of reality show "The Kardashians" in July, where Kim Kardashian features her relationship with then-boyfriend Pete Davidson alongside her family. However, the trailer came just before the reported breakup of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian on August.

"Life is good, I have a new boyfriend. I'm just having a really good time." Kim had teased their romance on the trailer, and even featured an NSFW scene that got fans hyped when the beauty mogul asked Pete: "Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?" to which the comedian dropped everything he was holding to run towards the bathroom door.

While Davidson did appear on Hulu's trailer, a source told Page Six that the "Saturday Night Live" star will only briefly make an appearance on "The Kardashians", as Pete is known to be a "private person", contrasting to reality star Kim Kardashian.

"He's in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete." The source told Page Six. "He was not on the first season. I don't know how they're doing the second season, but he's not a part of that world."

The pair first sparked their romance back in October last year, when Kim had hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live", where she and Pete kissed for a skit and started dating shortly after.

Following their split after 9 months of dating, the fallout was said to have been a "mutual decision" and stemmed from their struggle with maintaining a long-distance relationship. An insider also said that the possibility of getting back together was not very likely between the pair.

"It was an amicable split. They had discussed ending their relationship for a bit. It wasn't sudden." The insider disclosed to People. "And it was a mutual decision. Getting back together is not in the cards right now."

Recently, the former 'Saturday Night Live' star had reportedly undergone therapy after being repeatedly bullied online by Kim's ex-husband, Kanye West. Meanwhile, Kim is said to be "very supportive" of her ex-boyfriend's decision to attend therapy.

"The Kardashians" is set to release on September 22, 2022, and can be streamed on Hulu.
