The comedian started the post by acknowledging the many questions that the public may have, but apologized as she cannot say much due to the ongoing legal case.

Haddish turned off the comments on her Instagram post. Despite her statement and acknowledgement on the issue, her attorney initially expressed their dismissal at the "meritless" claims from the complainant's side.

"Every attorney who has initially taken on her case," the attorney stated, referring to the complainant's case, "and there were several -- ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down".

The Complainant's Side

According to the suit, Haddish and Spears had allegedly instigated the two minor's participation in sexually suggestive videos, which they claimed as a ticket to landing one of them a role in Nickelodeon. Haddish was also referred as a "longtime family friend" of one of the complainant's family.

The suit reads, "Upon information and belief, Haddish and Spears removed the 7-year-old victim from his sister, placed him upstairs in a bedroom, and stripped the child down to his underwear. The video was entitled 'Through A Pedophiles Eyes' and shows Spears lusting over the 7-year-old child".

Photos from the video shoot have been included in the complaint. Haddish allegedly played the role of the victim's mother in the video, in which the comedian admits that she "deeply regrets".
