Too Much Even for Cara Delevingne? Actress Felt Uncomfortable in 'Planet Sex' Docuseries

Cara Delevingne opens up on feeling like a prude during her time on "Planet Sex".

The "Suicide Squad" actress is set to star in an 'unfiltered' and 'authentic' docuseries featuring her sexual experiences while educating herself about human sexuality at the same time. The docuseries titled "Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne" will be a collaboration between Hulu and BBC Three.

Cara Delevingne Recalls Uncomfortable Moment

The 30-year-old model has been vocal about her sexuality in recent years, revealing that she identifies as 'pansexual' and has been dubbed as one of Hollywood's most visible queer actors.

However, the "Paper towns" star got candid on her recent uncomfortable feelings at MIPCOM while promoting her new docu-series, "Planet Sex".

"I'm used to being a chameleon but this was absurd," Delevingne said. "I used to think of myself as hip, young and cool but felt like such a prude. But I ended up doing everything I felt comfortable doing."

The BBC and Hulu docuseries will explore Cara Delevinge's take on human sexuality and how she will discover its constantly changing nature in every episode. The 30-year-old model detailed the "masturbation seminar" that caught her off guard.

"I went into the masturbation seminar thinking it was going to be a classroom and I'd have a notepad, and instead it was a pink, leather gym mat on the floor, with six people going, 'Well, take your underwear off. This is the lube,'" Delevingne detailed the experience. "I think I'm a pretty hip, young, cool, down-with-anything kind of girl but I was like, 'Sorry what? Sorry, no, absolutely not, I will not do that.'"

What to Expect for 'Planet Sex'

In one of the earlier announcements regarding the project, BBC elaborated their vision of the docuseries and how Cara Develingne will play into their theme.

'In this deeply personal, but also universally relevant series, Delevingne plans to put her mind and body on the line, opening herself up to experiments and demonstrations in the world's leading sex research labs, visiting communities who experience gender and sexuality very differently, and voyaging into people's hearts and homes to share their unique stories.'

"Planet Sex With Cara Delevingne" is set to release on November 29, 2022 on Hulu.
