Anna Faris' Wardrobe Malfunction

In a recent episode of Anna Faris' podcast, "Anna Faris is Unqualified" with a guest appearance featuring Lena Dunham, the "Scary Movie 2" actress recalled an experience with late-director Ivan Reitman, whom she proceeded to state that her time felt like being under a "reign of terror".

On the set of "My Super Ex Girlfriend", Anna recalled how the late director "would bring down somebody every day", which, unfortunately, happened to be her during her first day after a wardrobe malfunction.

"I wear a red wig. Right before, I'm in hair and makeup, and my hair lady knocks over a big jar of wig glue." Anna explained. "I was like 20 to 25 minutes late. I was terrified, truly, that my first day Ivan thinks I'm some kind of diva that's not coming out of my trailer."

Anna Faris Recalls Ivan Reitman's 'Reign of Terror'

After getting the wardrobe malfunction sorted out, Ivan Reitman's true colors were revealed as he yelled at Anna Faris during her first day.

"I'm, like, in the middle of the street that's all lit - you know, it's a night shoot - and Ivan is just taking me down," Anna Faris recalled. "He's like, 'Annie... You can't play like that around here!' and I was like, 'Don't do it. Don't cry. No crying.' I felt angry and hurt and humiliated and defensive. Eventually, I just said, 'Did no one tell you what happened?' And at that point he kind of just shut up and went behind the camera."

Additionally, she recalls a weird moment when Ivan Reitman had inappropriately slapped her behind on set. The late director died in his sleep at the age of 75 in February this year
