"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" executive producer has this to say about the reunion season controversy.

Garcelle Beauvais has been the subject of numerous controversies during the reunion season of Bravo's reality series, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".

The 55-year-old actress recently released her memoir titled, "Love Me As I Am", but some of her co-stars have been less than supportive of her latest project. In a past Instagram story posted by Erika Jayne, a video of a physical copy of her memoir was found in the trash. Co-star Lisa Rinna recently confessed to being the one who did the disrespectful act.

Andy Cohen Issues Public Apology Amidst Reunion Backlash

Now, in a recent episode of SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live", executive producer Andy Cohen took the opportunity to apologize regarding the backlash the latest season of "RHOBH" has been receiving.

"Everybody's been talking about the Beverly Hills reunion," Cohen expressed on SiriusXM. Fans Initially Called out Andy Cohen for Insensitivity

Additionally, a part of the apology was specifically addressed to Garcelle Beauvais as the executive producer recently made an "insensitive" comment to the reality star.

Fans called out Andy on social media after the latter had made a joke about Erika and Rinna's recycling habits, instead of acknowledging Garcelle's feelings about her memoir found in the trash.

However, in his public apology, Andy revealed that he held a "deep admiration" for the way Garcelle handled the controversy surrounding her and that they had a "really good, productive conversation" after he took accountability for his actions.

"I should've been more in tune with her feelings. I just wanted to say that because I've been logging in [to social media] and I get it," Cohen expressed.

Despite the initial drama that transpired, Garcelle Beauvais came up with a plan to make amends with Lisa Rinna and her daughter, Amelia, by writing the second edition of her book to omit the paragraph that offended her "RHOBH" co-star.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 12 releases new episodes every Wednesday on Bravo.
