English actor Tom Holland revealed at a recent press conference with the Critics Choice Association that he will put his "Spider-Man" suit back on for the fourth time if his demand regarding the next rendition of Peter Parker/Spider-Man is met.

According to Holland, who played the main hero in the movies "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2017, "Spider-Man: Far From Home" (2019) and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021), he has been "actively engaging in conversations about what it could potentially look like for a fourth rendition of [his] character."

He told the press that he feels very protective over the film and his character, so he wants a story that will do the character justice and protect its legacy.

"I won't make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth the while of the character," Holland stated.

"That said, if we can figure that out, I would be a fool not to put the suit back on again because I owe everything to Spider-Man. I love the character and the people I get to work with. So, I would love to tell another story, but I'll only tell it if we can find the right one," he further explained.

It's been almost three years since Holland's most recent "Spider-Man" film came out. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was released in theaters on Dec. 17, 2021.

In this sequel to "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home," the friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, leading to conflict between his superhero duties and his normal life.

Desperate for help to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man, Peter Parker turned to Doctor Strange. When a spell went wrong, the multiverse was shattered, leading to the appearance of villains from other worlds.

Included in the cast of Holland's most recent "Spider-Man" film were Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

"Spider-Man" and Holland's fans will have to wait a little more until the team behind the film finds a story worthy of the character before a "Spider-Man 4" sequel comes out.
