Demi Lovato and Jordan "Jutes" Lutes are engaged!

The songwriter proposed to the pop star during a private event in Los Angeles on Saturday, People reported.

Jutes, who co-wrote Lovato's song "Substance," gave her a custom pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring crafted by the New York City luxury jewelry boutique Material Good.

The joyous occasion was celebrated at the Los Angeles restaurant Craig's, a favorite of theirs, with their families.

Lovato, who uses she/they pronouns, shared the happy news via Instagram.

"I'm still speechless. last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic..," the 31-year-old singer gushed alongside photos of them posing together and holding hands.

"My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you," Lovato continued. "Every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby."

Jutes also shared his excitement, calling himself the "luckiest man alive" in a post on Instagram.

"Yesterday I asked my best friend to marry me and she said yes. I can't imagine my life without you and thank god now I'll never have to. [I'm] feeling like the luckiest man alive right now. I'm so in love with you @ddlovato," the 32-year-old wrote.

Lovato and Jutes reportedly began dating in August last year.

They made their first red carpet appearance as a couple when they attended the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy gala at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, in February.

Lovato and Jutes have been open about their relationship, with the pop star previously revealing on "The Morning Mash Up" that they were friends for "several months" before they started dating.

Lovato also described their current state as "definitely a bunch of sappy love songs" during a recent interview on "CBS Mornings."

In addition to "Substance," Jutes also co-wrote "Happy Ending" and "City of Angels" from Lovato's eighth album.

The engagement comes three years after Lovato's breakup with actor Max Ehrich.

Lovato and Ehrich got engaged in 2020 after just four months of dating. However, just two months later, the pair parted ways in September 2020.

At the time, Ehrich claimed that he learned that their engagement was over from the media.

But an unnamed insider source claimed to E! News that the actor was "lying."

"Demi did tell him beforehand," the source claimed, alleging that Ehrich is "just trying to stay relevant. Her family thinks he is crazy and is so relieved she has taken this step."
