Residing outside the United States? Here's how you can watch the Oscars awarding ceremony in your country.

On Sunday, the 96th Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be broadcast by ABC via its app, website and streaming services. The ceremony will start at 4 p.m. PT or 7 p.m. ET.

For those outside the U.S., the Academy has curated a list of international channels and streaming services where the event will be aired.

Australia

Viewers in Australia can watch the Oscars on Seven Network or stream it on 7Plus. The ceremony will start around 10 a.m. local time; the encore will air at 8:45 p.m.  


Canada

In Canada, the Oscars will be telecast on CTV and CTV2. The awards ceremony will air live from 7 p.m. ET.


New Zealand

The Oscars will be made available for Kiwis via a Disney+ subscription. The red carpet and the official ceremony will be streamed on Disney+. 


United Kingdom

In the U.K., fans can watch the Oscars on UTV1, UTV2 and ITVX. From 10:15 p.m., London time, Sunday, "Oscars Live" will be broadcast on the network.

Meanwhile, the live stream of the Oscars red carpet will start at 9 p.m. on ITVX. A 90-minute highlights video of the ceremony will also air on ITV1 at 10:45 p.m. the next day.

Europe

Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)

Duo 3, Duo 4, Duo 5, Duo 6, Filmzone, Filmzone+, Kidzone, Kino 7, Semeika, Kanal 2, Kanal 7 and Kanal 7+ will make the Oscars available in the Baltics. 

Bulgaria

In Bulgaria, Nova Television (NTV) will broadcast the awards ceremony for the viewers.

Belgium and Luxembourg

For French-speaking viewers in Belgium and Luxembourg, Pickx+ and Proximus TV will kick off their coverage at 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

Meanwhile, Play6, Play More Cinema (via Telenet) and GoPlay will provide the Flemish coverage. 

Croatia

The official Croatian broadcasters of this year's Oscars are the national networks HRT 1 and HRT 2.

Czech Republic

CT1, CT2 and CT Art will cover the ceremony. CT Art will have a live commentary between Šárka Jelínek Gmiterková and Helena Koutná. 

Denmark

In Denmark, TV2 Denmark, TV2 Play, TV2 Zulu and DR2 will make the 96th Academy Awards available for the viewers.

The broadcast will start at 10:05 p.m. local time on Sunday on TV2 and TV2 Play. Meanwhile, the red carpet coverage will begin at 11:30 p.m. 

Finland

Viewers in Finland can watch the Oscars 2024 coverage on YLE Teema Fem and YLE Areena channels.

France

Viewers in France, Andorra, Mauritius and Monaco can stay up to date with the awards ceremony on CANAL + France, Canal + On Demand, Canal Plus Decalle, Canal Plus Cinema, Canal Plus Sport, Canal + Family, Canal + Series.

The live red carpet coverage will start at 11:35 p.m. local time on Sunday, while the ceremony will kick off at 1 a.m. local time on Monday. 

Germany

Viewers in Germany, Austria, Alto Adige, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Switzerland can watch the awards ceremony on Pro 7, Kabel1, Kabel1 Doku, ProSieben MAXX, Sat.1, Sat.1 Gold, SIXX, Maxdome (AKA JOYN), 7TV, www.prosieben.de and Bundeswehr Television (German Forces TV).

ProSieben and Joyn will air the live 2024 Oscars broadcast from 11:25 p.m. local time. 

Hungary

Disney+ will be the go-to-streamer for the Oscars live coverage in Hungary, as well as Norway and Turkey.

Iceland

Leigan, Stod 2 and Channel 2 will broadcast this year's Oscars, with Icelandic pay-TV network Stod 2 as the main broadcaster.

Ireland

Oscar fans in Ireland can cheer on their hometown actor Cillian Murphy while watching Oscars 2024 on RTE, RTE 2 and RTE Player. 

Italy

Public network Rai and its VOD service Rai Play will broadcast the awards ceremony at 11:30 p.m. Sunday. 

The Netherlands

Film 1, Filmbox, ANOs ("Canal Digitaal" "KPN" and "Ziggo") will save the day for Oscars fans. The coverage will begin at 2 a.m. local time on Monday via Filmbox. 

Poland

Canal + (Poland), Player+ and myCanal will bring the red carpet and awards ceremony to Polish viewers. 

Portugal

For Oscar fans in Portugal, the coverage will run on RTP1 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. local time on Monday. The awards ceremony can be viewed on RTP 2, too. 

Romania and Moldova

This year, PROTV, PRO CINEMA and VOYO will provide the Oscars coverage to viewers in Romania and Moldova.

Serbia

RTS will be of service to Serbian viewers by broadcasting the Oscars ceremony live. 

Spain and Andorra

Clásicos por Movistar+, Acción por Movistar+, Comedia por Movistar+, Drama por Movistar+, Suspense por Movistar+, Indie por Movistar+, Cine Español por Movistar+, "Movistar Plus+ channel," "Cine por Movistar+," "Música por Movistar+" and "Documentales por Movistar+" and pop-up channel "The Oscars® on Movistar Plus+" will be the go-to channels/streamers for Oscar fans in Spain and Andorra.

The coverage will start at 10 p.m. Sunday, while the ceremony will begin at 2 a.m. local time on Monday.

Sweden

TV4 and its VOD service TV4 Play will broadcast the 2024 Oscars, starting with a pre-ceremony coverage at 11:30 p.m. local time on Sunday. The ceremony proper will commence at 2 a.m. on Monday. 

Ukraine

Suspilne Kultura will make the Oscars available for viewing for film fans in Ukraine.


Latin America

In Latin America and the Caribbean, the Oscars will be available on TNT, TNT Go, CNN Chile and HBO Max.

But in Mexico, the awarding event will air on Azteca 7 and Azteca 13. 


Middle East and Africa

In the Middle East and North Africa, the Oscars will be carried by MBC 2, MBC Max, Al Thaqafeya and Shahid Plus.

In South Africa, the Hollywood event will air live on DStv's M-Net on Monday from 1 a.m. CAT and 2 a.m. Eastern Africa time. 


Asia

India

Indian Oscar fans can watch the coverage on Disney+ Hotstar.

Star Movies SD, Star Movies HD, Star Movies Select SD and Star Movies Select HD will also make the coverage available for viewers in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Indonesia

Like India, Disney+ Hotstar is also the exclusive streamer of the 2024 Oscars in Indonesia. 

Japan

Film enthusiasts in Japan can enjoy watching the 96th Academy Awards on Wowow and Wowow Members On Demand. 

The show will air live on Wowow at 7 a.m., with local TV personalities John Kabila and Misato Ugaki as the broadcast's hosts. 

Philippines

Disney+ will stream a pre-show red carpet at 6:30 a.m. PHT on Monday. The ceremony will start at 7 a.m. and is expected to run for three hours. 

A replay will also be available after the ceremony ends.

Singapore

Channel 5 and meWATCH will live-stream the awarding event from the live red carpet coverage at 6:30 a.m. local time on Monday. 

Meanwhile, the main ceremony will kick off at 7 a.m. 

South Korea

Oscar fans in South Korea have several options for watching the awards show. It will be made available by OCN, OCN Movies, OCN Movies 2, TVN Limited, Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, LG U+TV, LG U+ Mobile TV, UFLIX, 99 SVOD, Movie Choice Action, Home Choice and O Choice.

The coverage will begin at 7 a.m. local time on Monday.
