A right-leaning online personality is accused of participating in the breach of the United States Capitol.

Isabella Maria DeLuca allegedly aided in the removal of a stolen table through a shattered window, facilitating its use as a weapon by fellow rioters against law enforcement, as detailed in recently unveiled court documents.

DeLuca, 24, was taken into custody on Friday in Irvine, California. She is facing misdemeanor charges such as government property theft, disorderly behavior, and unauthorized entry into restricted premises.

"This table was subsequently used to assault law enforcement officers guarding the Lower West Terrace Tunnel," a sworn statement written by an agent of the FBI says.

DeLuca, boasting over 333,000 followers on X, previously named Twitter, is a past congressional intern now employed as a media associate at The Gold Institute for International Strategy. They "felt it necessary to sever our relationship," a spokesperson said after she was charged.

According to her profile on the institute's website, DeLuca is an ambassador with the conservative youth group Turning Point USA. She also interned for two Republican Representatives who both support Donald Trump, according to CBS News.

Video evidence reportedly depicts DeLuca entering the suite of conference rooms within the Capitol premises via the aforementioned broken window. The FBI alleges that she then returned to the area where the table had been removed. Additionally, according to the FBI agent's sworn statement, other images purportedly show DeLuca in areas off-limits around the Capitol on January 6th.

According to court documents, DeLuca reportedly shared details of the chaotic events during the Capitol riot, both on the day of the incident and in the following days. This included mentioning being sprayed with mace.

At approximately 3pm on January 6th, DeLuca responded to a tweet with the message, "Fight back or let politicians steal and election? Fight back!"
