The 'Home Alone' house could be yours for the taking.
The house from the iconic Christmas film 'Home Alone'is now on the market. You can re-live the nostalgia of Kevin McCallister's holiday alone, fighting off intruders everyday if you wanted to.
This cinematic stable is located in in Winnetka, Illinois. This suburb just outside of Chicago is sure to make any lover of the 1990 movie feel right at home. The house has not been on the market in 12 years, meaning the filming of the movie is officially a memory that can be felt within the walls.
The house is listed on the market for $5.25 million. A video of the home was posted to the Dawn McKenna Group's Instagram where it boasts of it's lavish bedrooms, attic, basement and basketball court.
As the house prepares for a new owner, others are wandering about Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, and his current whereabouts.
Culkin, now 43, is engaged to fellow child star Brenda Song. The two are parents to two children; daughter Dakota Culkin Song and son Carson Culkin Song.
They reportedly live in New York, far away from the family home that is now for sale from the Christmas cult classic.
Back in March, Macaulay received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I'd like to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything. You're my champion. You're the only person happier for me today than I am," he said during the unveiling ceremony. "You're not only the best woman I've ever known, you're the best person I've ever known."
Song, 36, feels similarly about Culkin. In an interview with 'Vogue' she gushed: "People don't realize how incredibly kind and loyal and sweet and smart he is. Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack. He knows who he is, and he's 100 percent okay with that. And that to me is an incredibly sexy quality."
The 'Home Alone' house is being sold through the Kathryn Moor of Coldwell Banker Realty's Dawn McKenna Group.
