Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson brought husband Justin Mikita as his date at the 65th Primetime Emmys.
Ferguson and Mikita were dressed like a true couple in black tuxedos, the only thing that distinguished their sartorial choices were there shoes and Ferguson's jacket, which was checker-textured.
Ferguson has been nominated in the category of outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series for his role as Mitchell Pritchett on Modern Family, with his co-stars Ty Burrell and Ed O'Neill. The other nominees in the category are Adam Driver (Girls), Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), and Tony Hale (Veep).
Ferguson and Mikita tied the knot at 82 Mercer space in New York City on Jul. 20. Playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner officiated the ceremony. The 37-year-old Emmy nominee got engaged to the 27-year-old lawyer in Mexico last year. The two had been dating each other for about two years.
The couple appeared together at the Emmys in 2012 as well, and revealed details about the engagement on the red carpet.
According to Us Weekly, the couple had over 200 guests at the wedding, including Ferguson's co-stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burell and Eric Stonestreet, as well as friends Jerry O' Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Zachary Quinto, Isaac Mizrahi, Arnold Germer, Nigel Barker, Cat Deely, Mary Murphy, Tyce Diorio, and Padma Lakshmi. The wedding was organized by planner, Bryan Rafanelli.
