Patricia Medina died Saturday in a Los Angeles hospital at age 92. The famous Hollywood actress from the 1950s starred in several adventure films, the comedy "Francis" and in Orson Welles' "Mr. Arkadin."

The British-born Medina died at the Barlow Respiratory Hospital after her health declined, according to the L.A. Times.

The voluptuous and exotic-looking actress was the widow of actor Joseph Cotten ("Citizen Kane") who died in 1994. She was once dubbed the "Most Beautiful Face in the whole England."

Medina began acting as a teenager and made her way to Hollywood in 1945.

Medina attributed her success in movies to her beauty.

As a teenager she was tested at Elstree studios but recalled being "awful," according to UK's The Guardian. "The fact is I couldn't act. I can't believe they liked me. But one producer said it was because I was beautiful."
