The sequel to Dumb and Dumber is currently filming in Merietta, Ga. ahead of its 2014 release.

Titled Dumb and Dumber To, the film's production crew shot a driving scene early Monday morning. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are returning for the sequel 20 years after Dumb and Dumber's release in 1994.

Though little is known about Dumb and Dumber To the plot has been revealed to be about Lloyd Christmas (Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Daniels) tracking down one of their children. Their main goal is not necessarily to see the child again but to see if they can gain a new kidney.

Other actors confirmed to be in the movie are Jennifer Lawrence and Kathleen Turner, who will play the same character at different ages and The Walking Dead's Laurie Holden, who will be the main antagonist of the film.

Fans of Dumb and Dumber can expect the sequel to be similar in tone, according to the film's director Peter Farrelly.

"I love the script. It's exactly like the first one," Farrelly told ComingSoon in January. "We pick up 20 years later. We explain what they've done for the last 17 or 18 years. We take off from that and it's just a lot of laughs. If you liked Dumb and Dumber, you'll like this because it's the same and more. It's really fun."

Dumb and Dumber To is expected to have a 2014 release, though a specific release date has not yet been determined.
