Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville filmed her first scripted project.

The mother of two took on a fictional character, marking her acting debut, in the upcoming Lifetime movie Missing at 17. The film revolves around a teen who goes searching for her biological mother after finding out she was adopted.

A 17-year-old Candace (Ayla Kell) runs away in hopes of finding her biological mother but when she does not return home after 24 hours, her adoptive mother Shannon (Tricia O'Kelley) begins her own desperate search for Candace.

The film is inspired by true events.

Glanville tweeted about the project in September, writing, "Just found out my small part in the Lifetime movie Missing at 17 comes out Oct. 19. I'm not an actress, so this should be interesting."

The film premieres Saturday at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.

Glanville's ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, also filmed in a movie for the television network.

He and country singer/actress LeAnn Rimes co-starred in 2009's Northern Lights and began their extra-marital affair on the film's set. Both were married to other people at the time: Cibrian and Glanville already had two sons together and Rimes was married to singer Dean Sheremet.
