Russell Brand asked Katy Perry for a Second Chance: Report
Russell Brand is reportedly asking ex-wife Katy Perry for a second chance.
Brand reportedly send an emotional email to Perry asking a second chance and saying he "gave up" and ending their 14 month marriage was a "mistake," according to Grazie Magazine.
"Word has it Russell was 'seething with jealousy' when he saw pictures of her with Rob. He apparently feels he gave up on their relationship too easily," a source told the Magazine.
The 36-year-old comedian filed for divorce from Perry, 27, in December, citing irreconcilable differences.
Perry was spotted at the Coachella Music Festival in April kissing Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
According to rumors, the reason why Brand filed for divorce was that he wanted Perry to cut back on her partying.
“He wanted a wife who could settle down with him, have kids and have this normal lifestyle and she wasn’t ready for that. She still had a bit of a wild streak in her,” Ian Drew of Us Weekly magazine said in “Good Morning America.”
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Brand became jealous after seeing photos of Perry cozying up to Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
Brand sent Perry an email in which he admitted he gave up on the marriage too soon, also according to the Daily Mail.
