A friend of Robert Pattinson's revealed the ultimate news for Twi-hards: should the British heartthrob be given the opportunity to work with his former and off screen love Kristen Stewart, he would agree to it.

Pattinson's friend said if the right script came along he would "love" to work with his ex-girlfriend.

"Rob would love to work with Kristen again," the insider told Hollywood Life. "He has always admired what a passionate and dedicated actress she is - that's always been a huge turn-on for him."

The Twilight star wholeheartedly agrees with their fans that Stewart is a top-notch actress, according to the insider.

"He has always been in awe of her ability to completely transform into a character. He's learned a lot from her as an actor and if the right script came along, he would for sure jump on board," the source added. "But it would have to be the right script."

It was revealed in an earlier report that Pattinson would like to meet up with Stewart for a doggie play date with the pets they shared when they lived together in Los Feliz, Calif. before they split. Stewart currently has possession of their dogs, Bear and Bernie.

Another source revealed that Stewart would love it if Pattinson reached out to her for that type of get together.

"Kristen would be absolutely ecstatic if Rob reached out to her and even more so if it involved Bear and Bernie," a friend of Stewart's told the website.

It was previous reposted that Pattinson is "simply not over Kristen," despite being romantically linked to model Dylan Penn.
