Fans now have the opportunity to win tickets for the world premiere of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug on Dec. 2.

As there will be only one lucky winner for the premiere, there is also the option of entering a contest to attend an advance screening on Dec. 9 before the film's official release on Dec. 13.

Women's Health magazine is running a sweepstakes for one person to win a pair of tickets to the world premiere in Hollywood. The publication will feature Evangeline Lily, who plays Tauriel in the film, on the cover of its January/February 2013 issue while Men's Health will have Bard the Bowman actor Luke Evans on its December issue.

The deadline to participate in the sweepstakes is Dec. 1. Fans can enter the contest on San Diego 6 to win tickets for the advance screening, which will take place at 7 p.m. in select theaters.

New stills featuring Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) were revealed by the Daily Mirror UK on Nov. 27.

In the Desolation of Smaug, Bilbo and his troop of dwarfs head toward the Lonely Mountain to reclaim their homeland while Oakenshield encourages them to fight Smaug the Dragon. Bard the Bowman plays a key role in the film and the character will be reprised in the next installment, There and Back Again. Legolas (Orlando Bloom) will also feature in the last film of the trilogy but the nature of his role, which could also just be a cameo, has not been confirmed.

The film also features Beorn (Mikael Persbrandt), who can shift between the form of a man and bear.

Filming for The Hobbit: There and Back Again is already underway. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters Dec. 13. The Hobbit: There and Back Again is scheduled for release on July 18, 2014.
